Maryann Regan, Executive Director

Prior to coming to the Scituate Animal Shelter, Maryann was the Director of Shelter Operations for the Animal Rescue League of Boston.  Maryann received her Masters Degree in Community Leadership from Duquesne University and her background includes a certificate in Non-Profit Management & Leadership from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, and an Anthropology degree from UMass, Boston. Maryann also served on the Board of the New England Federation of Humane Societies for 6 years.  Maryann can be reached at  


Ashley Davis, Director of  Programs and Operations

Ashley is a graduate of Westfield State University with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science.  Her lifelong love of animals and dedication to their welfare led her to volunteering and vet teching at various southeastern Massachusetts organizations throughout her high school and college years. Ashley has a soft spot for the senior cats and dogs along with community outreach. Ashley can be reached at

Amanda Eddy Baker, Volunteer Program and Operations Manager

Amanda joined the staff at the Scituate Animal Shelter in August 2017.  She is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Boston.  Amanda is a lifelong animal lover and was a volunteer at the Scituate Animal Shelter before joining the staff.  She lives in Weymouth with her husband, 2 dogs and 1 cat who is a SAS alumni.  Amanda can be reached at


Donna Culbert, Canine Training Coordinator

Donna has been training dogs professionally since 2004 and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer by the Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. Donna is now working as the Scituate Animal Shelter’s Canine Training Coordinator, evaluating each dog for temperament and developing and conducting training plans. Donna can be reached at


Carissa DeBord, Animal Care Supervisor

Carissa joined the Scituate Animal Shelter in October 2014 as its Animal Care Supervisor. From a young age, she had a great love for animals and a passion to work with them, which started with training Casey, her rescued Pit mix that she owned for 18 years. She had previously been a canine care volunteer and shelter greeter for the Quincy Animal Shelter.  She currently lives in Plymouth, MA with her two cats, hamster, and fish – all rescued.


 Jeanne Christo, Database Administrator

Jeanne processes all receipts and manages the Shelter’s database of donors, adopters and volunteers.  Jeanne lives in Marshfield with her three cats, one of which is Shelter alum, Romeow. Jeanne can be reached at

Kim Donovan

Kim Donovan, Administrative Assistant

Kim has been working as an administrative assistant at the Shelter since 2014.  She is responsible for writing thank you letters to all of our donors, large and small. Kim lives in Marshfield with her husband and three dogs.


Peter Zona, Director of Finance

Peter is a semi-retired CPA who has worked as the Shelter’s bookkeeper since April, 2013 and was promoted to Director of Finance in 2014.  Peter is responsible for maintaining all of the Shelter’s financial records and working with the Treasurer to prepare monthly reports to the Board, as well as annual filings with state and federal authorities.  Peter can be reached at



Nikki Smith, Animal Care Supervisor

Nikki is a recent graduate of Tufts University with a Masters of Science in Biomedical Science and Masters of Public Health. She has been a veterinary technician at various animal hospitals, shelters and wildlife facilities in Massachusetts and North Carolina. After a career in organ donation, her commitment to animals led her to merge her interest in public health with animal welfare. She has a passion for senior dogs. She lives in Scituate with her wife, daughter and 3 rescue dogs.
