Meet Andria Dolce!  She has decided to run this year’s Frosty Half taking place on December 3rd.  You know what else she has decided?  To raise funds for the animals of the Scituate Animal Shelter!  Will you help her meet her goal?

Teg Griffiths’ Challenge-Rowing for Animals


Shelter Volunteer, Teg Griffiths, and his wife, Sarah, have set themselves a tough challenge – Teg will row 750 miles, do 7,500 pushups, 7,500 squats and 7.5 hours of planking, and Sarah will row 500 miles, do 5,000 pushups, 5,000 squats and 5 hours of planking! – all to raise money for the Shelter!!

Teg and Sarah will begin their challenge on December 1, 2016 and will continue to raise money until the challenge is complete.  Support them and the Shelter by clicking here to donate.  Teg and Sarah have pledged that all money raised will be given directly to the Shelter to help stray and unwanted animals in the communities we serve.

Rugged Maniacs

Kellie Forde, of Weymouth, and Diana Casey, of Braintree participated in the Rugged Maniac, on September 24, 2017 to raise funds for the animals at the Scituate Animal Shelter.  Kellie and Diana exceeded their goal and raised $1,200 for the Shelter.  Thank you Kellie and Diana!

Kara McInnis ran the 2017 Boston Marathon to support the Shelter and its animals. 

A huge Thank You to Kara McInnia, who ran 26.2 miles in the 2017 Boston Marathon to raise money for Shelter animals.  Kara raised over $7,000 for the Shelter!  Congratulations Kara!!

Zack’s 2016 Run for Animals

A huge Thank You to Zack Regolino, who ran 26.2 miles in the 2016 Boston Marathon to give Shelter animals access to life altering medical care like he received when battling—and ultimately beating—two debilitating conditions.  Zack’s courage and determination raised almost $4,000 for the Shelter!  Congratulations Zack!!

Lyn Evans Paws for a Cause

Lyn EvansLyn Evans News generously hosted an event to raise money for the Shelter at her store in Norwell. 15% of purchases and 100% of raffle ticket proceeds was donated to the Shelter and went directly to help care and find homes for unwanted and homeless animals!  Thank you Lyn!!


Susan White Photography Paws for a Cause

A big THANKS to Susan White Photography for holding the 5th Paws for a Cause event to benefit the HELP Program at the Scituate Animal Shelter.

Pet portrait sessions including a 7 X 5 matted print were offered for a special price, and 50% of the proceeds was donated to Shelter’s HELP program.  A fabulous program to benefit a fabulous cause!

Whiskers & Wine

A big thank you to StillwWhiskers & Wine Imageaters Wine and Gourmet for hosting Whiskers & Wine on June 27, 2015!

And thank you to all our supporters who benefited the Shelter through their attendance.  There was a huge selection of terrific wines to taste, fabulous food, raffles and more!  A great time was had by all!

We are proud and grateful to our former President’s son, Matt Sullivan, who completed the 2015 Boston Marathon raising nearly $1,700 for the Shelter.  Thank you Matt!  We’re so glad to have you on our team!

Teg Griffiths 2014 Challenge

We are so gTegs Challengerateful to independent runner and Shelter volunteer, Teg Griffiths, of Cohasset, who challenged himself to run 500 miles in five fingered running shoes to benefit the Shelter.  He reached his goal in November, 2014 raising much needed funds for homeless animals!  THANK YOU Teg for all you do for the animals, inside and outside the Shelter!
