Become a Foster Family

CarakitsOur foster families lovingly care for animals that may not do well in the Shelter environment, including kittens that may not be old enough to be adopted, or animals that require medical attention until they’re ready for adoption! Many of the kittens needing foster homes also need help learning how to socialize with people, so being in a home is the ideal place for them.

The Shelter provides all necessary supplies, medical care, and training that you will need. All you need is to have a bathroom or room without places to hide or beds to jump off of. Kittens need a small area where they cannot run away from you or hide under anything. Beds and dressers can be a danger for exploring kittens who may jump off. If you have a small room or bathroom and are up for fostering, email us for more information at
