Resources for Pet Owners

Low cost spay/neuter resources

Neutering doesn't just prevent unwanted litters:  it can help correct certain behavior issues like spraying and marking, as well as reducing the risk of infection and very serious health concerns like mammary and prostate cancers.

Local Pet Food Pantries

Lower cost food, flea/tick prevention, medications & supplies

We recommend Chewy.com as a good source for food and supplies, including prescription diets and medications at lower costs than available through veterinarians.   You may sign up for automatic shipments so that food and supplies are delivered to your door.

Lower cost cat litter options

For a lower cost option to traditional cat litter, we recommend trying horse pellet bedding from your local feed store.

We also recommend the  Breeze Litter System.  The Breeze Litter System requires you to change a pee pad instead of scooping heavy litter.  It saves money and is great for seniors and those with limited mobility.
