Our Cupboard: help for pet owners
The Community Cupboard at SAS is a resource for any pet owner facing financial need.
Pet food and supplies for cats, dogs, and small animals will be available free of charge, no questions asked.
Please note, food and supplies will vary from week to week. We operate on an honor system; in order to
help the largest number of animals, we ask that
you please only take what you need.
The Cupboard is first come, first served and is open during shelter open hours
Wednesdays 1:30 pm - 6pm, Saturdays 10:00 am - 2pm and Sundays 10:00 - 2pm (starting October 15th)

Our shelter grounds feature outdoor pens & tree-lined walkways where pets enjoy sunshine and freedom while they wait for new homes, and even a wildlife garden planted to attract birds and butterflies. For $36, a memorial stone, personalized with the name of a beloved pet, will be placed in one of these lovely spaces.

Purchase an engraved brick to be placed in our shelter walkway. Bricks are a permanent tribute for an important milestone or a loving memorial for a beloved pet, while helping the thousands of animals whose lives we'll touch each year.
Small bricks are $100 and large bricks are $200,

Make your pet a star!
Purchase a page in our 2024 day-by-day tear off desk top calendar. Your pet will be featured in this beautiful calendar on the day of your choice (but hurry, dates fill up fast). A great gift for a friend or memorial for a beloved pet.
One page is $25, or get 4 pages for $75.

We sell a wide variety of apparel in a range of colors such as branded tees, sweatshirts, hoodies and more for men, women and kids. We also have items like dog bandanas, hats, mugs, totes, and water bottles.
